This home had been built in the 60s, with window pelmets, lovely original timber floor boards, and some original light fittings and door hardware. 

In this master bedroom we were able to build a palette of colour and texture with incredible wallpaper, wall colour, window furnishings, lighting, and bedding.

COMFORT YOU NEVER WANT TO LEAVE

With new wardrobes, warm colours, and a cosy rug under foot, who would ever want to leave this bedroom? 

Custom joinery for the bedroom storage spans the full length of one wall. We were able to create ‘his’ and ‘hers’ sides with all the mod cons internally. A bank of drawers and open storage for make-up and power supply sits central to this custom joinery.

Stunning linen bedding, wool rugs and New Zealand merino blankets were chosen for this room to compliment to colour palette and furnishings.

LUXURY LIVING

Even the pooch knows the place to be is in this comfortable bed with cosy comforter and New Zealand merino blankets!

This teenage boys bedroom still has a warm and cosy vide with ‘Donkey Brown’ paint, and textured rug. A floor-to-ceiling wardrobe, custom set of drawers, and a tidy desk unit tie all the joinery together in an L-shaped room.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL

This home had amazing original matai floorboards, so we chose to sand and re-finish these and add New Zealand wool rugs underfoot.

BEDROOM FURNISHED

A teenage daughter’s bedroom has a grown up feel, and plenty of storage that makes use all the space available under the sloped ceiling. Beyond this joinery, a secret door exists to an attic space used for long term storage. 

Simple handles and sliding doors are used here, to maximise the space in a small room. A queen sized bed fits between two built in bedside cabinets with open shelves and brass wall lights.
